Cancer Australia aims to reduce the impact of cancer, address disparities and improve outcomes for people affected by cancer by leading and coordinating national, evidence-based interventions across the continuum of care.

Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is Australia’s leading breast cancer consumer organisation. For the past 22 years, BCNA have worked tirelessly to ensure that all Australians who are affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.
Breast Cancer Trials
Breast Cancer Trials is a group of world-leading breast cancer doctors and researchers based in Australia and New Zealand with a commitment to exploring and finding better treatments for people affected by breast cancer through clinical trials research. BCT are on a mission for people affected by breast cancer to live better, to live longer and to never die from breast cancer.
BreastScreen WA
BreastScreen WA aims to:
- reduce morbidity and mortality attributable to breast cancer
- maximise the early detection of breast cancer in the target population
- ensure equitable access.
The BreastScreen WA program provides free screening mammograms to asymptomatic women. Specifically, it targets women aged 50 to 74 years, as the scientific evidence of benefit from screening mammography is greatest for women in this age group. However, all women 40 years or over are eligible to attend.
